The Perry Center is currently hiring for the position(s) of:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Invest in the lives of our residents.

  • Cook meals with residents.

  • Help bring residents to appointments or events.

  • Be a role model and spiritual leader for our residents.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma 

Personal Characteristics

  • Should possess the personal characteristics generally recognized as essential for public employees, including integrity, initiative, emotional maturity, dependability, courtesy, good judgment, and the ability to work cooperatively with others.

  • Believe that life begins at conception and that for an unplanned pregnancy, abortion, is never an option.

  • Have a neutral stance on adoption vs. raising a child in their attitudes concerning unplanned pregnancy, while maintaining a pro-life belief.

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, attend church on a regular basis, and be comfortable in teaching and sharing their faith with others.

  • Be capable of providing leadership and spiritual guidance to the young women according to their specific needs.

 

Experience

  • Any combination of training, experience education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the position.

  • Preference to those with declared Social Work major.

Hours/Pay
This is a contracted position that requires:

  • Commitment to at least one shift per week. (5:00pm-6:00am)

  • Commitment to at least one weekend per month. (Friday 5:00pm-Monday 6:00 am)

  • Commitment to working one holiday per year.
